PA-C in Physical Medicine and Rehab for PRN Medical Review Work (Must Be Actively Practicing)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; Baltimore is listed as the location.

Salary: $750 per completed case; compensation is paid per patient record review and accompanying report.

What you will do

• Conduct independent remote reviews of medical necessity, appropriateness, and quality of care.
• Prepare evidence-based assessments and written determinations using established clinical guidelines and review criteria.
• Review utilization management cases, appeals and hearings, and quality-of-care or standard-of-care concerns.
• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity throughout the review process.
• Complete patient record reviews and accompanying reports within required turnaround times.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted U.S. PA-C certification required.
• Must be actively practicing and have seen patients for an average of at least 20 hours per week during the past 30 days.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, review cases objectively, and meet deadlines in a secure remote environment.
