Psychiatry Specialist (Contract) (AI)

hirify.global is a Series A startup developing automated tools and expert datasets rooted in psychology and powered by clinicians to improve safety in the AI era.

What you will do

• Design clinically realistic psychiatric prompts and case scenarios covering diagnosis, medication management, psychotherapy, risk assessment, capacity evaluation, and complex clinical decisions.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, safety, completeness, and clinical judgment using structured rubrics.
• Identify challenging differential diagnoses, nuanced edge cases, and recurring model failure modes.
• Develop evidence-based reference answers and provide detailed written feedback for model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with researchers at a leading AI lab and participate in onboarding, calibration sessions, and quality reviews.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or an internationally equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency, including ACGME, AOA, or a recognized international equivalent.
• Current board certification in Psychiatry and a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
• At least 3 years of independent clinical practice after residency, with current practice or practice within the past two years.
• Experience in an accredited or government-licensed healthcare setting, such as a hospital, academic medical center, community mental health clinic, private practice, or telepsychiatry.

Nice to have

• At least 10 hours of direct patient care per week.
• Advanced expertise in a recognized psychiatry subspecialty, such as addiction, child and adolescent, consultation-liaison, forensic, or geriatric psychiatry.
• Experience developing or examining Objective Structured Clinical Examinations.
• Interest in improving AI systems and responsible healthcare technology.
