What you will do

• Develop, pitch, produce, and deliver lifestyle show segments from concept through live broadcast.
• Source and book guests, conduct pre-interviews, and prepare questions and scripts for on-air talent.
• Write and produce complete segments and shows while securing sound bites, video, and image elements.
• Edit interviews and B-roll for broadcast and assist with image and video clearances.
• Lead live control room execution, managing rundowns, timing, editorial changes, and communication with production and technical teams.
• Maintain production schedules and documentation while coordinating crews in accordance with legal and union requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least two years of broadcast television or production experience.
• Experience with entertainment magazine-style programs, talk shows, and segment production.
• Experience using digital cameras and editing systems, with strong video production knowledge.
• Strong writing, creative writing, editorial judgment, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, work independently, and remain detail-oriented.
• Must be willing to work in Chicago, work in a hybrid arrangement with at least four office days per week, and have unrestricted US work authorization.
