Young Professional Officer (Communication And Outreach)

Location: Onsite at headquarters in Rome, Italy. The appointment is fixed-term for two years, with the possibility of extension. Appointment is subject to medical fitness certification, accreditation, residency or visa requirements, and security clearances.

What you will do

• Support communication and outreach activities within the Office of the Deputy Director-General for Natural Resources and Sustainable Production.
• Contribute to communication initiatives covering climate change, biodiversity, fisheries, forestry, animal production, and related agrifood topics.
• Coordinate with technical units and organizational stakeholders on outreach activities.
• Help communicate the organization’s work toward sustainable agrifood systems and the 2030 Agenda.

Requirements

• Be available to work onsite in Rome, Italy.
• Meet the requirements for a Professional P-1 appointment.
• Obtain required medical, accreditation, residency or visa, and security clearances.
