TL;DR
Junior System Engineer (PLC/SCADA): Configuring, testing, and deploying PLC, SCADA, control, and power monitoring systems for switchgear products with an accent on automation, system integration, and reliability. Location: Campsie, United Kingdom. International site travel is an essential requirement.

What you will do
- Assist with the design, configuration, testing, and validation of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Develop and validate software for control and power monitoring systems.
- Perform system integration testing with switchgear products.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning at project sites.
- Troubleshoot PLC programming, communication protocol, hardware, and software issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with hardware, project management, production, and customer teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA, HMI design, and protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, or Profibus.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
