What you will do

• Write and review high-quality software aligned with corporate, regulatory, security, reliability, performance, and maintainability standards.
• Act as a low-level design authority and support Technical Leads with code-level design decisions.
• Develop and evidence automated tests, document solutions in Confluence, and contribute to new product features.
• Help the squad identify and remediate vulnerabilities while promoting secure coding practices.
• Influence technical direction, improve engineering processes, estimate delivery timelines, and support cross-team initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge on development approaches, automation, and agentic AI solutions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience delivering high-quality software independently.
• Expert knowledge of one or more development languages, ideally Python or JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn and broaden responsibilities around agentic AI solutions and automation.
• Knowledge of investment products and business processes.
• Strong communication, organization, influencing, documentation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from the Bristol office two days per week; employment sponsorship is not provided.
