SDET III (IC3) - Software Engineer In Test III

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada. The role is not sponsorship eligible, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

What you will do

• Define test plans and approaches for product features and functionality.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated integration, workflow, system, and end-to-end tests.
• Assess performance requirements and create load tests for distributed enterprise systems.
• Coordinate testing, release, and deployment activities across product Scrum teams.
• Pair with developers to improve application testability and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, QA specialists, and stakeholders to improve product quality and automation reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
• Experience in Scrum/Agile and DevOps environments.
• Experience creating automated tests with tools such as Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Programming knowledge in Python, Java, or another object-oriented language, plus SQL query writing and REST API testing with Postman, Curl, or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, build, configuration, package, and release management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab, or GitHub.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, Coralogix, or Datadog.
