Payment Operations Specialist

Location: Remote from Ukraine, with the option to visit offices in Warsaw and Kyiv.

What you will do

• Maintain payment infrastructure, orchestration configuration, billing systems, and recurring payment flows.
• Implement new payment methods, providers, and payment configurations.
• Manage relationships with payment providers, acquiring banks, and vendors while coordinating issue resolution.
• Analyze acceptance rates, decline reasons, retry logic, and payment recovery performance.
• Prepare payment KPI reports and deliver data-driven recommendations with Product, Finance, Risk, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Payment Operations, Payments Management, or Billing Operations.
• Strong understanding of online payment lifecycles, card processing, billing systems, recurring payments, and subscriptions.
• Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms, payment routing, and payment providers.
• Experience improving payment conversion and acceptance rates and resolving operational payment issues.
• Strong analytical, ownership, communication, and decision-making skills; proficiency in Excel.
• Must be based in Ukraine for the remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Solidgate, Tableau, or Power BI.
• SQL knowledge and experience with SaaS or subscription-based products.
• Understanding of fraud prevention and risk management processes.
