Contractor - IT Systems Support 3

Location: Onsite in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. This is a 40-hour-per-week contract expected to run through December 2026. Candidates must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

What you will do

• Provide telephone, in-person, and online technical support to end users.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
• Administer user access across Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, and related systems.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex support requests and coordinate resolution with IT teams.
• Lead assigned IT projects, communicate status, and coordinate completion with stakeholders.
• Support server, networking, security, telephony, and service desk activities as needed.

Requirements

• A four-year degree in an IT-related field and at least six years of highly applicable full-time experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting at least one Windows client operating system.
• Required knowledge of 802.3 wireless networks, Layer 2 switching, two-factor VPN, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, user access control, IP telephony, and security principals.
• Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 is required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, planning, adaptability, dependability, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Corvallis and perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 10–15 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting iPhone, Android, UEM, Apple DEP, KNOX, iMac, MacBook, iPad, Unix, or Linux.
• Knowledge of disk imaging and endpoint backup products.
