Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Onsite in Aurora, Colorado, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, along with an active TS/SCI clearance and active CI polygraph.

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, and integrate computer, network, and storage infrastructure.
• Support the transition of systems tightly coupled to their underlying infrastructure.
• Build and maintain development, integration, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Modernize platform architecture using DevOps and DevSecOps tools, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and agile development teams on robust platform solutions.
• Integrate encryption, access management, security, compliance, operational support, documentation, and baseline control.

Requirements

• Typically a bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or physics, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Programming or scripting experience with languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, or Go.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux and troubleshooting Linux-based infrastructure services.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active TS/SCI clearance and active CI polygraph are required; Security+ or CISSP certification is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, or GitLab.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Experience delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework.
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration.
