Product Owner (Finance Tech)

Location: Onsite in Hong Kong (SAR)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, ALM Reporting, and Finance Technology teams to deliver the product roadmap.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, plan sprint deliverables, and facilitate daily scrum meetings.
• Coordinate changes with product managers and technical squads across the bank.
• Apply emerging technologies, including AI, to streamline finance processes and improve analytics capabilities.
• Manage external vendors and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Lead requirements analysis, QA testing, post-implementation reviews, and prompt resolution of production incidents.

Requirements

• Experience in project management under an agile methodology as a Project Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar.
• Solid experience in banking or the financial institution industry, with in-depth knowledge of banking and treasury products.
• Strong understanding of finance domains such as accounting and general ledger, regulatory reporting, treasury products, liquidity management, FP&A, or tax reporting.
• Technical knowledge of core banking, general ledger, regulatory reporting, payment systems, SQL, AWS, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing vendors, analyzing requirements, testing solutions, and providing sound solutions to finance users.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.
