Wellness Coach (Mental Health)

Location: Remote within the US 48 contiguous states. Availability required Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 PM–10:00 PM PT, for 30 hours per week.

Salary: $25–$31 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Deliver structured and drop-in wellness coaching, prevention, psychoeducation, and behavioral health interventions.
• Create individualized care plans, establish measurable goals, and support positive behavioral change.
• Conduct mental health and wellness screenings, progress monitoring, risk assessments, and crisis support.
• Coordinate care, manage cases, and facilitate warm handoffs to healthcare providers when appropriate.
• Moderate journals, goals, and other user-submitted content in line with safeguarding, data protection, and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate records, participate in supervision and training, and collaborate on operational and safeguarding matters.

Requirements

• National Certified Peer Specialist qualification.
• Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist qualification.
• At least 6 months of employment or volunteer experience providing peer-to-peer support services.
• Current state certification with a minimum training requirement of 40 hours.
• Permanently reside within the US 48 contiguous states.
• Availability Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 PM–10:00 PM PT, for 30 hours per week.
