What you will do

• Own frontend features end-to-end for complex crypto tax and financial data workflows.
• Optimize, refactor, and extend a high-performance React and TypeScript application.
• Make architectural decisions and shape the frontend strategy for a complex established codebase.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design as the primary frontend engineering partner.
• Build precise, cross-browser interfaces capable of handling massive datasets and complex DeFi reconciliations.
• Raise engineering standards through high-quality implementation, technical judgment, and transparent collaboration.

Requirements

• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, especially with complex, data-heavy web applications.
• Expert-level TypeScript and deep production experience with React, including React internals, performance optimization, and modern tooling.
• Strong understanding of scalable web application architecture and design patterns.
• Advanced frontend styling skills, cross-browser compatibility, and pixel-level attention to detail.
• Production experience with the React and TypeScript ecosystem, including TanStack, Vite, Vitest, Playwright, Storybook, Tailwind CSS, and related tools.
• Fluency with AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor and sound professional judgment when using them.

Nice to have

• Experience building mobile applications with React Native.
• Background in financial products, blockchain, cryptocurrency, or DeFi protocols.
• Familiarity with Ruby and services interoperating with a Ruby codebase.
• Public portfolio on GitHub or a similar platform.
