Information Communication Technology Officer (ICT)

Location: Onsite duty station in Istanbul, Türkiye; the vacancy title references Ankara, Türkiye.

What you will do

• Enable the continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and access to ICT services and solutions.
• Provide technical help and support to users and office operations.
• Support capacity building and knowledge management.
• Contribute to ICT project management, business operations, and administrative tasks.
• Assist with the delivery of results in a small-size office.

Requirements

• A university degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology management, business administration, or a related social science field.
• At least two years of professional experience in IT management and business operations in a large international organization or corporation.
• Expertise in ICT project management, business analytics, information security, ICT audit management, telecommunications, and network security.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Onsite availability in Türkiye is required for the duty station.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, or a local language.
• Experience working in a UN organization.
• Country-level experience in development, fragile settings, or humanitarian contexts.
