Business Analyst

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Web Products): Defining and managing requirements for in-house digital products with an accent on solution analysis, functional specifications, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on modeling business processes, validating requirements, coordinating testing, and improving product functionality within Scrum teams.

Location: Remote or office-based; remote onboarding is available.

What you will do

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, designers, product managers, IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to deliver product features.
• Analyze business needs and define use cases, functional requirements, business rules, and non-functional specifications.
• Identify solution options and assess their technical and business suitability.
• Create and maintain functional and technical descriptions of business processes.
• Manage requirements, prioritization, traceability, verification, and validation, including backlog facilitation when needed.
• Oversee test implementation, collect user feedback, and propose functional improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant business analysis experience.
• Experience creating solution artifacts such as UML diagrams, use cases, business rules, and functional and non-functional specifications.
• Good knowledge of Scrum and the Business Analyst role within the Scrum process.
• Understanding of web standards, protocols, messaging protocols, data formats, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP, FTP, and TCP.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD principles, analytical and systems thinking, communication, and facilitation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively handle ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SOA, DDD, monolithic architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working on integration projects.
• Basic knowledge of mobile development technologies.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
