Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Yokneam Illit, North, Israel

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Develop manufacturing solutions that improve product quality, yield, throughput, and cost performance.
• Optimize production layouts, equipment configurations, and material flow.
• Evaluate equipment performance, troubleshoot process gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production on product introductions, design transfers, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process specifications, and validation protocols while providing technical leadership and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience developing, validating, and improving manufacturing processes in a regulated industry.
• Experience with process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Experience with statistical analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, process validation, and quality system requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with new product introduction, technology transfer, or process scale-up.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing technical decisions.
• Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
