Manager, Strategy and Optimization Solutions

Location: Houston, Texas, US. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days, subject to manager discretion, performance, and work assignments. Travel may be required based on client and project needs. Relocation is not available and visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Frame and validate optimization use cases across asset, facility, and enterprise levels, aligning solutions with client objectives, operational constraints, and measurable outcomes.
• Architect optimization solutions and develop reusable templates, playbooks, and reference architectures for scalable delivery.
• Lead complex client engagements from discovery and workshops through pilot execution and scaled adoption.
• Guide multidisciplinary engineering, analytics, data, and IT/OT teams through solution design, integration, and deployment.
• Support integrated resource planning through load growth analysis, resource evaluation, and scenario assessment.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, solution marketing, thought leadership, mentoring, and internal enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience; a master’s degree in engineering, applied mathematics, operations research, computer science, economics, or business is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, engineering, analytics, or related professional services.
• Experience leading significant, cross-functional client engagements with senior executive and technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing optimization, decision-support, integrated planning, or performance improvement solutions for asset-intensive industries.
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and translate complex analytical concepts into executive-level insights.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment checks, including background, drug, and motor vehicle records screening.

• Experience with commercial software platforms, data environments, or digital solutions used in infrastructure sectors.
