Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne, Australia office.

What you will do

• Own product design challenges from discovery through final UI delivery.
• Create interface designs aligned with product strategy and user goals.
• Conduct or support user research, competitive analysis, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Use insights, performance metrics, and user feedback to improve engagement, clarity, and conversion.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities and define success.
• Present design rationale, mentor designers, and contribute to critiques and design standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with end-to-end ownership of design projects.
• A strong portfolio covering discovery, research, prototyping, testing, and final UI delivery.
• Proficiency with AI tools and prompt engineering to improve design workflows and deliverables.
• Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to connect design decisions with product and business outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in financial markets or prediction-style products.
• Interest or knowledge in streaming, gaming, or emerging technologies such as AI.
• Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and actively seeking feedback.
