Software Engineer

TL;DR

Software Engineer (C++/C#/Java/Python): Developing software for semiconductor metrology, inspection, and data analytics products with an accent on object-oriented design, algorithms, and cross-platform development. Location: Shanghai, China; domestic and international travel to company and customer sites may be required.

What you will do

• Develop software using object-oriented programming languages on Windows or Linux.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, deployment, and customer support.
• Build software solutions for metrology, inspection, and data analytics products.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and support deliveries to customer environments.
• Travel domestically and internationally to company and customer sites as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronics, physics, automation, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Experience with one or more object-oriented languages, including C/C++, C#, Java, PHP, Python, LabView, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreaded programming, object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and software debugging abilities.
• Fluent English and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant experience expectations vary by degree: 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or no experience with a doctorate.
