What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain critical distributed systems for log ingestion and storage.
• Drive projects from initial ideation through to operational deployment and maintenance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and availability of services.
• Collaborate with global team members to deliver new features and improve existing architecture.
• Contribute to open-source projects and influence the technical roadmap.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to iterate quickly on prototyping and refactoring.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain, Ireland, Germany, the UK, or Sweden.
• Solid experience with Go or similar languages like Python, C, C++, or Rust.
• Proven experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to production shipping.
• Experience developing software for Cloud environments or systems engineering.
• Ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills for a fully remote, distributed team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Operational experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SRE practices and infrastructure as code.
