Procurement Lead

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work arrangement required

What you will do

• Set the direction, priorities, governance standards, and category strategies for the Procurement function.
• Lead complex, high-value negotiations and contracts, improving pricing, terms, protections, and risk allocation.
• Identify savings opportunities through spend analysis, business insight, total cost of ownership optimization, and budget governance.
• Manage strategic suppliers, including performance, risk, concentration, innovation, onboarding, and RFP processes.
• Improve procure-to-pay workflows and apply automation and AI while maintaining process adoption and auditability.
• Lead, coach, recruit, and retain a small high-performing procurement team.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, including complex negotiations and end-to-end RFPs across multiple vendors.
• Strong knowledge of contracting, commercial and risk terms, supplier management, and procure-to-pay processes and controls.
• Experience using spend and data analysis to identify savings and build technically grounded budget baselines.
• Familiarity with modern procurement or ERP tools; SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
• Fluent English and Portuguese required.
• Must be based in or able to work from São Paulo in a hybrid arrangement.

• Experience applying automation and AI to procurement workflows.
