Application Builder, Ring Application Services (Android)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications for Ring's setup experience.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices that interact with Ring devices.
• Own features from conception through launch and deliver customer value iteratively.
• Investigate design approaches, prototype technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility with partner teams.
• Write robust, maintainable code with clear documentation and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
• Implement unit and integration test automation and use generative AI tools while maintaining security and compliance.

Requirements

• Professional, non-internship software development experience.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Professional Android mobile application development experience with Kotlin.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Programming experience with a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
