What you will do
- Architect, design, and deliver advanced native Android solutions for search, discovery, and recommendations across travel platforms.
- Lead technical direction for multi-service and cross-domain mobile initiatives, including architectural decisions and coding standards.
- Design system and low-level architectures, robust APIs, and data models for internal and external service integrations.
- Mentor mobile engineers across teams and promote technical excellence, code quality, and knowledge sharing.
- Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled capabilities that improve mobile user experiences and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver mobile features and shape technical strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise designing and delivering complex Android applications at scale, including system and API design.
- Experience leading architecture and technical direction for multi-service, cross-domain, or organizational mobile initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
- Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack components or Jetpack Compose, Android architecture patterns, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization.

- Experience in search, discovery, consumer mobile applications, or the travel industry.
- Experience establishing technical strategy, best practices, and operational excellence for organizational mobile platforms.
- Experience collaborating within large, globally distributed development teams.
- Expertise in cross-platform or multi-domain engineering.
