Salary: $80,000–$95,000 base salary plus bonus

What you will do

• Maintain supplier approval records, ingredient documentation, compliance records, and supplier performance scorecards.
• Partner with Procurement, R&D, and Regulatory teams on supplier onboarding, vendor approvals, ingredient changes, and quality initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier and ingredient risks, implement monitoring controls, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Review ingredient specifications, Certificates of Analysis, hazard analyses, handling matrices, and shelf-life evaluation data.
• Conduct supplier quality investigations, root cause analyses, ingredient testing, and follow-up activities.
• Develop, update, organize, and archive SOPs, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Burlingame, California 4 days per week.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, quality systems, food safety, or a related field within the food and beverage industry.
• Experience reviewing ingredient specifications, Certificates of Analysis, supplier documentation, and quality systems records.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, written communication, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate status and recommendations clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and implementing document control processes.
• Experience with supplier compliance software such as FoodLogiQ.
