Location: Hospital Site, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; onsite role. Some travel, mostly within Canada, and occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime are required.
Salary: CAD 4,594–4,827 per month. Full-time, one-year contract ending August 31, 2027, with possible renewal subject to funding and performance.

hosts Can-SOLVE CKD, a national chronic kidney disease research network supported by research institutions, healthcare organizations, charities, universities, and industry partners.
What you will do
- Coordinate administrative operations for councils, committees, research projects, and partner groups.
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars and records, manage correspondence, and support network information systems.
- Organize workshops, conferences, seminars, and the national annual meeting across Canada and the United States.
- Manage event logistics, venues, vendors, catering, audiovisual support, travel arrangements, volunteers, and post-event reporting.
- Process requisitions, travel claims, honoraria, invoices, credit card payments, and accounts payable documentation.
- Support grant submissions, medical-supply inventory, HR administration, and basic office IT coordination.
Requirements
- High school graduation plus a two-year post-secondary diploma and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Ability to work onsite at the Hospital Site in Vancouver and travel mostly within Canada.
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, project planning, and scheduling applications.
- Ability to exercise judgment, tact, discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality while managing multiple deadlines.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives; Indigenous Cultural Competency training is required.

- Experience in a clinical research environment.
- Administrative experience in a large and complex organization.
