Location: Based in Boston, Massachusetts or New York City, New York, United States. Relocation assistance is not available.
Salary: $115,200–$214,000 USD annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do
- Design and execute observational studies using healthcare and real-world data.
- Support evidence generation for clinical development, regulatory strategy, payer questions, and healthcare decision-making.
- Identify relevant real-world data sources and perform feasibility assessments with guidance from senior data scientists.
- Apply observational study methodology and interpret study results appropriately.
- Develop expertise in novel data types, statistical methods, advanced analytics, and specialized study designs.
- Contribute to data strategy, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of real-world data methodology.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience working with healthcare or real-world data in applied research, or an advanced degree with 0–2 years of equivalent experience.
- Experience using statistical software such as R, SAS, or Python for data analysis.
- Strong strategic agility, problem-solving, critical thinking, independent judgment, and communication skills.
- Experience working in agile project teams or regulated environments.
- Must be based in Boston or New York; relocation assistance is not available.
Nice to have
- Exposure to pharmacoepidemiology or health economics and outcomes research.
- Experience in cardiovascular, renal, or metabolic disease.
- Authorship of scientific publications.
