Export Logistics Analyst

TL;DR

Export Logistics Analyst (International Trade): Coordinating customer orders, vendor procurement, transportation, and export documentation for chemical products with an accent on order fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Focus on managing multimodal shipments, preparing accurate trade documents, and resolving complex service issues across North American export operations.

Location: Hybrid position in The Woodlands, Texas, United States, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Receive and enter customer orders, verify pricing and credit terms, and confirm delivery expectations.
• Place purchase orders with vendors, track shipments, send overseas vendor contracts, and communicate delays.
• Coordinate inland, ocean, and air transportation from vendors to warehouses or customers.
• Prepare invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export licenses, and other required documentation.
• Manage regulatory filings, including DEA and TSCA 12(b), and support ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Resolve service issues, maintain accurate customer records, and ensure reliable order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, international trade, economics, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in international trade operations, including North American import/export.
• Experience with freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and export trading.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
• Clear written and verbal English communication is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.

• Certifications such as CCS, CES, MES, or IATA.
• Spanish/English bilingual ability.
