What you will do
- Lead manufacturing operations for the IBD300 product line, including sub-assembly, assembly, integration, testing, and shipment readiness.
- Partner with engineering, product management, supply chain, quality, planning, software, and service teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, margin, and cycle-time goals.
- Drive concurrent engineering and design-for-manufacturability improvements, including modularity, first-pass yield, serviceability, ergonomics, and sourcing efficiency.
- Manage manufacturing plans, staffing, capacity, budgets, metrics, productivity roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead operating reviews, GEMBA activities, production quality investigations, corrective actions, 8D, root-cause analysis, and manufacturing readiness through product transitions.
- Build and develop a high-performing manufacturing team through workforce planning, recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, New Product Introduction, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience, including leadership of production teams in complex manufacturing environments.
- Required experience in high-mix, low-volume capital equipment manufacturing involving large-scale systems and complex bills of material.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, concurrent engineering, Six Sigma, 8D, root-cause analysis, and production quality management.
- Strong business and financial acumen covering budgets, capacity, staffing, labor efficiency, and operational performance metrics.
- Must work in the United States at the Beverly, Massachusetts location; domestic and international travel is required.
