What you will do

• Build and maintain cost models to establish design-to-cost targets for components and assemblies.
• Analyze supplier quotes to identify cost drivers and reference best practices.
• Lead the technical implementation of electronic system cost modeling solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams during the new business quoting phase.
• Support procurement teams during negotiations by providing target costing data.
• Identify emerging technologies that offer cost improvements and competitive advantages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost engineering, VA/VE, and design of electronic systems.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex component costs.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English required.

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience developing cost models for components and modules.
• Background in automotive electronic systems and component selection.
