Manager, Engineering Access Requests Team (Identity Governance)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California

Salary: $204,000–$280,500 USD annual base salary for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the engineering team responsible for Identity Governance product features across access governance personas.
• Set priorities, expectations, accountability, and execution plans for the team.
• Collaborate with product management, design, QA, architecture, documentation, and other engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable features.
• Provide technical guidance, feedback, mentoring, and support for engineers.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineers while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise cloud software.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical management experience.
• Experience working with product and program managers on objectives, priorities, trade-offs, and risks.
• Experience handling support tickets, bug fixes, and enhancement work in large enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for technical discussions.
• Experience leading, recruiting, mentoring, and retaining engineers.
