Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer

What you will do

• Lead design verification activities and drive quality product tapeouts.
• Develop pre-silicon verification plans, simulation environments, mixed-signal behavioral models, and automated regression flows.
• Collaborate with analog and digital designers, layout engineers, systems architects, applications, test, and silicon validation teams.
• Analyze simulation results, identify failure root causes, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in design and verification reviews, silicon bring-up, and post-silicon validation.
• Correlate simulation results with measured silicon performance to support first-pass silicon success.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with EDA design tools, including Cadence Virtuoso.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design and tool flows.
• Extensive experience with Verilog, Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, and UVM for automated regressions.
• Working knowledge of Unix shell, TCL, Perl, Python, and SKILL scripting.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience verifying integrated circuits with I2C, PMBus, or SPI interfaces.
• Knowledge of power management architectures, ESD, reliability, electro-migration, semiconductor manufacturing, or design-for-test methodologies.
• Experience with lab validation and version control systems such as DesignSync, SVN, or Git.
