Mixed Signal Design Verification (MSDV) Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead design verification activities for high-quality product tapeouts.
• Develop pre-silicon verification plans, simulation environments, mixed-signal behavioral models, and automated regression flows.
• Collaborate with analog and digital designers, layout engineers, system architects, applications, test, and silicon validation teams.
• Analyze simulation results, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in design and verification reviews, silicon bring-up, and post-silicon validation.
• Correlate simulation results with measured silicon performance and support continuous improvement of verification methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal IC design and verification flows.
• Experience with EDA tools, including the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
• Extensive experience with Verilog, Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, and UVM for automated regressions.
• Working knowledge of Unix shell, Tcl, Perl, Python, and SKILL scripting.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience verifying ICs with I2C, PMBus, or SPI communication protocols.
• Knowledge of power-management architectures, including ideal diodes, e-fuses, and switching converters.
• Experience with lab validation, ESD, reliability, electromigration verification, semiconductor manufacturing, or design-for-test methodologies.
• Familiarity with DesignSync, SVN, or Git.
