TL;DR
Program Manager (Manufacturing): Managing valve programs and customer relationships for shipyard and US government customers with an accent on schedule adherence, procurement coordination, engineering documentation, and on-time delivery. Focus on resolving program issues, tracking contract execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating corrective actions across customer and internal stakeholders.

Location: Onsite in Salem, Ohio, United States; requires work in both an office and production environment. Up to 10% domestic travel is required. Applicants must provide proof of US citizenship and attest that they do not hold dual citizenship due to access to NOFORN naval nuclear propulsion information.

Provides defense manufacturing and valve solutions supporting shipyard customers, the US Navy, and the US Coast Guard.

What you will do

  • Manage customer service relationships and act as the customer representative within the Salem facility.
  • Coordinate scheduling, manufacturing, operations, engineering, procurement, and planning activities to support valve programs.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, engineering documentation, material availability updates, and project invoicing records.
  • Track customer inquiries and program issues through resolution while monitoring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct reviews, identify challenges, develop corrective actions, and communicate project impacts to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and no dual citizenship are required to meet NOFORN access requirements.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project management or operations management.
  • Experience developing, tracking, and executing project plans, with skills in customer service, negotiations, contracts, finance, and problem solving.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, relationship-building, and multitasking abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or GED required; ability to work onsite in office and production environments and travel domestically up to 10%.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science- or business-related field.
  • PMP certification.
