TL;DR
Clinical Development Operations, Sr Associate (AI-enabled clinical operations): Supporting clinical development leadership through operational coordination, project execution, communications, budget tracking, and workflow modernization with an accent on leadership support, business operations, and AI-enabled productivity. Focus on coordinating complex workstreams, building operational dashboards, facilitating cross-functional execution, and integrating AI tools into daily clinical development activities.

Location: Hybrid role based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, requiring residence within commuting distance and on-site work an average of 2.5 days per week or more as needed. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $74,000–$123,300 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

  • Coordinate clinical development leadership meetings, decision forums, agendas, materials, actions, and deliverables.
  • Support departmental projects, transformation initiatives, milestone tracking, dashboards, reporting, and operational metrics.
  • Monitor timelines and workstreams, identify risks, and escalate issues to support effective execution.
  • Assist with budgets, purchase requests, invoices, vendor engagements, consulting agreements, and contract administration.
  • Draft leadership communications, town hall content, newsletters, reports, and stakeholder updates.
  • Promote AI-enabled productivity tools, workflow automation, knowledge management, and collaboration across Clinical Development, Finance, HR, and Digital teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, business operations, or related environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and AI assistants such as Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
  • Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools, workflow automation, data analytics, business systems, reporting platforms, or operational technologies.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable now and in the future.
