What you will do

• Lead and develop a remote engineering team within your time zone
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development for engineers
• Manage expectations and collaborate with other engineering teams and stakeholders
• Build clean web service APIs using Python and optionally Golang
• Engage with open-source community and commercial partners
• Contribute to engineering roadmap and technical leadership

Requirements

• Must be located in Americas, Europe, Middle East or Africa time zones
• Experience leading agile software development and fostering collaborative engineering culture
• Strong software development skills in Python; Golang is a plus
• Effective communication and mentoring skills
• Practical Linux system administration experience
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events
