Senior Design Project Director (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, serving the Philadelphia area, with periodic travel to client sites.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee life science projects through design, preconstruction, construction administration, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
• Act as the primary project representative, manage client relationships, and support business development and new project acquisition.
• Develop project delivery strategies, scopes of work, proposals, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and architecture teams while coordinating resources across office and client sites.
• Mentor project management staff, support recruitment and training, and build a strong core team.
• Maintain quality standards, resolve project issues, and collaborate with senior management and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a cGMP-regulated environment and previous experience providing project management services to clients.
• Experience leading multiple life science projects and multidisciplinary engineering and architecture teams.
• Strong understanding of project execution methodologies for cGMP life science facilities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, leadership, and people skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for project and company needs.
