Project Architect (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Lead architectural design and technical execution for pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing facilities.
• Translate client workflows, regulatory requirements, and technical criteria into efficient, compliant, and constructible architectural solutions.
• Develop programming, feasibility studies, facility planning, cleanroom layouts, process adjacencies, and material and personnel flows.
• Guide projects through programming, concept development, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with project managers, process architects, lab planners, engineers, and construction partners.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications, support schedules and scope management, participate in client presentations, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of architectural experience focused on life sciences manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated facilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Active professional license as a Registered Architect.
• Experience with regulated environments, cleanrooms, controlled manufacturing spaces, and applicable cGMP, FDA, EU pharmaceutical, and ISO 14644 requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related architectural documentation tools.
• Strong technical coordination, communication, prioritization, and mentoring skills.
