Network Engineer

What you will do

• Define and improve network configuration, architecture, and operational standards.
• Provision and manage network devices, corporate circuits, and platforms across offices and points of presence.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability while improving device monitoring.
• Execute scheduled changes, firmware upgrades, configuration updates, and operational documentation.
• Troubleshoot network hardware and software issues in collaboration with third parties, IT, and remote office users.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and support extended-hours or weekend work when needed.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of BGP configuration and management.
• Knowledge of backbone, datacenter, corporate, wireless, and remote-access networking.
• Working knowledge of at least one internal routing protocol and TCP/IP.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple networking vendors, including Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, or Arista.
• Knowledge of network security and network access control.
• Scripting and automation experience for network operations.
