TL;DR
Dev Ops Engineer- Temporary position (Python/Kubernetes): Developing and scaling data infrastructure, telemetry processing pipelines, fleet health analytics, and backend services for Intel Xeon data center products with an accent on distributed systems, cloud-native deployment, and large-scale data processing. Focus on designing analytics pipelines, optimizing SQL and platform performance, deploying Kubernetes services on Azure, and resolving production issues through debugging and automated testing.
Location: On-site in Guadalajara, Mexico

What you will do
- Develop and maintain Python backend components for data platform and software infrastructure.
- Design scalable data extraction, processing, and analytics pipelines for server health and customer fleet telemetry.
- Build fleet-scale solutions for reliability, quality, health monitoring, defect screening, and customer reporting.
- Query and optimize relational and non-relational databases, SQL workloads, data marts, and enterprise data warehouse integrations.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized services on Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure.
- Create Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, support releases, debug software, resolve defects, develop automated tests, and identify scalability bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science, engineering, data engineering, or data science field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s degree with 5+ years.
- Advanced Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins CI/CD, Git, GitHub, complex SQL, and relational and non-relational database experience.
- Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets, distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Dask, and Microsoft Azure or similar cloud services.
- Experience debugging software, resolving production issues, and developing automated tests.
- Advanced English is required.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico; visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with data modeling, warehouse schemas, data marts, reporting solutions, and large-scale analytics environments.
- Experience with scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, data visualization, dashboards, business ligence, and analytics workflows.
- Knowledge of Linux, cloud-native technologies, MLOps, model deployment, telemetry datasets, and Xeon server platforms.
