Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, or Chile

What you will do

• Work with internet-scale systems handling millions of requests per second across multiple cloud providers.
• Develop solutions that improve performance, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Improve releases across quality, security, uptime, delivery speed, threat detection, and customer engagement.
• Use customer feedback, internal input, and system metrics to identify priorities and make rapid decisions.
• Build reliability solutions across infrastructure, data, and application-logic layers.

Requirements

• Senior-level background with at least six years of hands-on experience in engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, application and infrastructure monitoring, and network monitoring.
• Software engineering background with backend development experience in Kubernetes-based systems.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, JavaScript, Go, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with networking, proxies, content delivery networks such as Cloudflare, multi-cloud environments, virtual networking, load balancing, web application firewalls, and CI/CD.
• Experience with high-scale, high-uptime, and high-reliability environments, distributed systems, queue-first architectures, and sharding.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with security frameworks, attack vectors, botnets, and impact analysis.
• Experience using AI coding agents and evals-first development workflows.
