Salary: $171,600–$222,200 annually in Sunnyvale; $142,800–$193,200 annually in Bellevue. Compensation also includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Invent, design, and implement solutions for agentic AI, memory retrieval, and context management at scale.
• Build systems that learn from conversational, visual, ambient activity, and purchase-history signals.
• Design and deploy self-optimizing agentic architectures serving millions of customers.
• Organize and reason over diverse customer interactions to improve personalization quality.
• Lead the science lifecycle from hypotheses and offline experiments through online A/B testing and production accountability.
• Design statistically sound evaluations for personalization quality and AI safety.

Requirements

• PhD, or a master's degree with 4+ years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
• Expertise in natural language processing, recommendation, search, advertising systems, or conversational AI.
• Experience with RAG architectures, LLM post-training, evaluation and reasoning pipelines, agentic system design, and scalable deployment is preferred.
• Peer-reviewed research publications and familiarity with generative AI tools and frameworks are preferred.
