What you will do
- Educate healthcare providers about genetic testing initiatives, sponsored testing programs, and available diagnostic laboratories.
- Identify educational needs among healthcare providers and genetic testing key opinion leaders.
- Provide expertise on IRD gene panels, test requisition forms, result interpretation, and testing laboratory resources.
- Collaborate compliantly with client teams, internal partners, laboratories, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to U.S. diagnostic strategy, advocacy, outreach, conferences, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deliver insights and education that improve sponsored testing utilization and patient support.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; a healthcare degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
- At least 7 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics experience.
- Experience collaborating with KOLs, laboratories, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong diagnostic and scientific acumen, communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, and operational capability.
- Ability to work effectively in matrixed, diverse, and cross-functional environments with strong ethical standards.
- Ability to travel long distances by car, plane, and train; comfort with modern electronic hardware and AI tools is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with rare or ultra-rare diseases and a strong patient focus.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology.
