Location: Ottawa campus, in office

Salary: CAD 25.00–35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Improve continuous integration tools and workflow solutions for Optical Networks product releases.
• Implement and deploy enhancements to DevOps solutions within a small Agile team.
• Apply development and automation tools to improve designer workflows.
• Integrate code changes that improve product quality and stability.
• Use data-driven approaches and collaborate with software development, infrastructure, and tools teams to improve service delivery speed.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent international program.
• Ability to travel to and work from the Ottawa campus in office.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with software development, tools development, or continuous integration environments.
• Knowledge of Git development workflows.
• Experience with Python, Jenkins, Google Repo, Gerrit, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, REST, SQL or NoSQL databases, and Docker.
• Experience with automation and testing.
