Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 CAD

What you will do

• Develop codified, modular, and reusable frameworks to enhance AppOps workflows and automation efforts.
• Build tools and scripts to embed logging, monitoring, and alerting functionality into application code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain version-controlled libraries, templates, and automation modules for multi-product integration.
• Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and recovery processes to reduce manual intervention and improve performance.
• Integrate observability practices (metrics, logging, and tracing) into applications for proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to align on architecture and delivery strategies.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in AppOps, DevOps, or SRE roles, focusing on development and operational support.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools with a focus on creating modular, reusable patterns.
• Advanced programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Proven ability to design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada full-time.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Certification.
• Experience with inner-source practices.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
