Salary: USD 170,000–200,000 yearly

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives and sponsored testing programs.
• Identify educational needs across the inherited retinal disease healthcare community and provide diagnostic expertise.
• Build relationships with genetic testing KOLs, healthcare providers, laboratories, and internal partners.
• Explain IRD gene panels, test requisition best practices, laboratory resources, and result interpretation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the U.S. diagnostic strategy and compliant outreach.
• Attend conferences and provide insights to improve diagnostic program execution.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required; a healthcare degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics environments.
• Experience collaborating with KOLs, laboratories, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong diagnostic and scientific acumen, communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, and operational capability.
• Ability to work effectively in matrixed, diverse teams with strong ethical standards.
• Ability to travel extensively by car, plane, and train and live near a large airport hub.

Nice to have

• Experience with rare or ultra-rare diseases and a strong patient focus.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology.
