Production Stage Manager (Monster Jam)

Location: On-site in Ellenton, Florida, United States; requires domestic and international travel 90–100% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead the traveling production crew and oversee technical operations for Monster Jam shows.
• Supervise safety officials, stagehands, audio/video staff, and other event personnel.
• Plan engagements, including local labor, catering, venue relations, show performance, and teardown.
• Coordinate the movement of production equipment between cities with corporate transportation.
• Submit technical and safety reports and administer production safety and operational standards.
• Arrange and purchase production-related supplies for each show.

Requirements

• Associate degree, one to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Understanding of Monster Jam or comparable traveling family entertainment show operations.
• Experience supervising and negotiating with unions such as IATSE and labor companies.
• Knowledge of theatrical terminology and production equipment, including rigging, electricity, scenic elements, lighting, costumes, and sound systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and deadline-management skills; ability to work under high pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; ability to sit and stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
