Production Stage Manager (Monster Jam)

Location: Ellenton, Florida, United States; on-site. Requires domestic and international travel 90–100% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead the touring crew and oversee technical operations for Monster Jam stadium shows.
• Supervise safety officials, stagehands, audio/video production staff, and other event personnel.
• Plan engagements, including local labor, catering, venue relations, performances, and production teardown.
• Coordinate show equipment movement between cities with corporate transportation.
• Submit technical and safety reports, arrange production supplies, and administer safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree, or one to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Thorough understanding of Monster Jam show operations or related experience with other traveling family entertainment shows.
• Experience working with, supervising, and negotiating with unions such as IATSE and labor companies.
• Understanding of theatrical terms and directions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and a variety of computer programs.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate across organizational levels.
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet quick deadlines.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 90–100% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of and experience with chain hoists, rigging equipment, electricity, scenic elements, stage sets, props, lighting systems, costumes, and sound equipment.
