What you will do

• Design, develop, refactor, and optimize scalable C++ systems for Dead by Daylight.
• Improve the game engine, platform-specific implementations, and developer tools.
• Profile systems and resolve performance, memory, stability, and reliability issues.
• Investigate and fix bugs introduced during ongoing feature development.
• Deliver features and fixes consistently across PC and current- and previous-generation consoles.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, programmers, and cross-disciplinary teams to align solutions with the project’s technical vision.

Requirements

• 8+ years of game development experience, including shipped AA/AAA titles.
• Strong C++ proficiency with deep knowledge of performance optimization, multithreading, memory management, and debugging.
• At least 2 years of recent experience with Unreal Engine.
• Ability to handle a broad range of technical challenges and lead complex initiatives across multiple systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-disciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiplayer or live-service games.
