What you will do

• Own and deliver high-quality AI systems and gameplay features that meet technical, design, and artistic requirements.
• Optimize and debug code to improve game performance and technical quality.
• Design sustainable, performant, and maintainable technologies while promoting programming best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to technical design documents, requirements clarification, task definition, and peer code reviews.
• Plan work, provide realistic progress updates, and proactively identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Evaluate and promote cutting-edge technologies when they benefit the game.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in related roles.
• Strong C++ knowledge and advanced debugging skills.
• Good understanding of game engine architectures, client-server programming, and network replication.
• Strong software design, data-driven architecture, optimization, and multithreading skills.
• Experience with formal AI behavior languages or systems such as FSM, Statecharts, or Behavior Trees.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping games with Unreal Engine.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience developing in a live environment.
