Staff Product Designer (AI)

TL;DR

Staff Product Designer (AI): Design hirify.global’s end-to-end Agent Experience across CLI, API, MCP, SDKs, Blueprints, Skills, documentation, and web interfaces with an accent on coherent interaction models, human-agent handoffs, and trust, safety, and governance. Focus on designing agent-operable workflows, configuration-first deployment, access control, and dashboard experiences that help people understand and trust agent-driven work.

Location: Remote within the United States. This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship; existing visa transfers may be sponsored at hirify.global’s discretion with business authorization.

Salary: $218,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the Agent Experience program across the platform’s programmatic and human-facing surfaces.
• Design coherent interaction models for the CLI, API, MCP, SDKs, Blueprints, Skills, and agent-facing documentation.
• Create configuration-first onboarding and deployment flows that let agents operate the platform without breaking at the first step.
• Design dashboard experiences for reviewing, supervising, and understanding agent-driven deployments, retries, failures, and activity.
• Design consent, scoped access, token management, and revocation experiences based on least-privilege principles.
• Establish a shared product model across applications, services, and environments, and influence product, engineering, and leadership direction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally with developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, or other technical products.
• Strong craft across GUI and non-GUI surfaces, including web interfaces, command design, API ergonomics, SDKs, MCP, or documentation-as-experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end journeys across interface boundaries and ownership of major product areas.
• Ability to read code, prototype with code, and collaborate directly with engineers.
• Clear communication, cross-functional influence, and judgment to define quality in an emerging design category.
• Must be based in the United States; applicants requiring new visa sponsorship generally are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or shipping CLI, SDK, API, or MCP surfaces at scale.
• Experience with agent-facing documentation, Blueprints, Skills, OAuth, scoped tokens, or least-privilege access models.
• Hands-on experience with coding agents or LLM-driven tooling.
• Design-engineering literacy, including motion, prototyping, or frontend fluency.
• Writing, talks, or side projects demonstrating expertise in developer experience.
