Consultant, Contracts

Location: Must be based in the APAC time zone; eligible locations include Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.

What you will do

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts, including NDAs, confidentiality agreements, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for investment funds and asset manager clients.
• Maintain client playbooks and ensure consistency and quality across negotiations.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals while reviewing their work.
• Identify opportunities to improve hirify.global’s AI-backed legal technology tools and workflows.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of post-qualification experience in transactional law.
• Independent experience negotiating pre-M&A and commercial contracts.
• Experience working with asset managers, investment banks, or other financial services firms.
• Law degree and a license to practice in an APAC jurisdiction.
• Must be based in the APAC time zone.
• Strong client communication, prioritization, adaptability, and legal technology skills.
