Commercial Legal Counsel (3-Month Contract)

What you will do

• Draft, structure, review, negotiate, and execute complex commercial and partnership agreements.
• Manage agreements with banks, payment service providers, exchanges, wallets, custodians, fintech companies, and digital asset partners.
• Own commercial transactions and contract negotiations end to end with minimal supervision.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Compliance, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations teams to reflect business, legal, and compliance requirements in agreements.
• Advise management and internal stakeholders on contractual, regulatory, compliance, financial, and legal risks.
• Improve contracting processes, templates, playbooks, and procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with at least 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong commercial contracting experience gained in-house and/or at a reputable law firm.
• Ability to independently draft, review, structure, and negotiate complex agreements.
• Strong commercial judgment, stakeholder management, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts and risks into clear, practical advice.
• Available to start as soon as possible and commit to a minimum 3-month contract.
